Select Stack – Select the HDP version and the repository related to your Operating System. Now follow steps described in below images: Default username and password is:- admin/admin. Then log on Ambari Server using the username password you provided during the Ambari Installation.
Note that Ambari using default port 8080 for the Ambari Server. Now open the Ambari UI form your preferred browser by providing host name/IP address of the machine on which you have installed the Ambari. Now I assume that you have done the cluster planning and prerequisites installation on all of your hosts, let’s install Ambari on the admin host. Please visit my previous blog: Environment Preparation to know more about prerequisites installation and environment preparation. Now we need to install the prerequisites on all machines which are going to be a part of Hadoop cluster and need to do the environment preparation. I assume that you have done the cluster planning and you are ready to proceed further.
